Eudora, by Steve Dorner, is a brilliant email program. For my purposes it's the best around. My only complaint would be that the icons look a little... well... rough and plain, perhaps. So when Eudora 1.5.1 was released and lacked colour icons, I thought I'd do something about it, if only to keep me happy.
So I did. And here, with Steve Dorner's kind permission, they are. I've created colour icons for just about everything in Eudora 1.5.2 and Eudora 2.1.1 - mini-icons that appear in windows and whatnot, including the new "Settings" dialogue box. I've also done up colour versions of the rooster and the snake that appear when you have mail or don't have mail, respectively. And for good measure I've included marginally more interesting versions of the sounds that announce the arrival of incoming mail or tell you when Eudora wants your attention.
And, yes, this is version 0.3! I've made a few changes as a result of suggestions from various net.folk... They're listed at the end.
Version 0.3 Differences.
1) I've provided colour versions of the icons in commercial Eudora 2.1.1 in addition to those found in freeware Eudora 1.5.2. (if you like the freeware version I'd seriously suggest looking into the commercial one - it has some very handy features.)
2) My email and World Wide Web site addresses have changed.
Have fun! And please send me email if you like these icons.
